Hello all,

Just to let you all know i'm now a GTI owner and loving it.

Went from Kev shreks old si to this and what a difference.

Need a bit of advice tho about the front speakers, there is a door speaker and a tweeter in the front pillar, does anyone have the wiring diagram or do they now the config of these two so i can wire them up.

So far gti ownership is a treat, car feels great and pulls past 100 so easily and quietly and it returned 35mpg on the way back from blackpool when i picked her up.

I'll post some pics when i get the time.

Blackpool? What colour is it? I'm from Blackpool and theres only very few GTi's I know of and One is mine and other is BlackpoolMeras Both Red! But i did see a Blackone a while ago!
 
Think there was a couple around here Rob.A blue one,black one and there used to be a red one near me.Didnt someone in clevely's have a Black one a while back?

Anyways,enjoy your new car mate.Once you get a GTi then you'll never go back;)
 
Its a black one, with 17" multi spokes. I think the guy only had it for bout 2 months as he is a kind of dealer.
Was worth the trek coz there is very few non-molested ones up north.
 
if its looks i would stay with those multispokes..they look nice..it will be faster on the standard 15's but
 
To be honest mate I would change the wheels... really not a fan of multispokes and I don't think they suit the car... what you need is a nice set of black GTi alloys ;) lol
