New guy from NPOC

hi guys,

just poped over from NPOC to say HI, and ask a quickie question.

I have just brought a 2002 almera 1.5 E but it has the airbag warining light on.

can anyone shed some light on how to reset??? i know in the premera you can do it off the key in the ignition( i think )

anyhow, just like to say what a cracking little mota it is. had a lovely 80 odd mile drive back after i picked it up today.

anyway you may see me on here more often from now on/ if not here then on NPOC.

ello n welkom fella.

on peugeots i know that the air bag warning light can come on due to poor wiring/loom connectors under the front seats. normally with ignition off (for 10mins) disconnect and then reconnect the plug. the light will go off. if it comes back on tho you have to cut the connectors off and re join them properly.

2) After “AIR BAG” warning lamp lights for 7 seconds, turn ignition switch “OFF” within 1 second.
3) Wait more than 3 seconds.
4) Repeat steps 1 to 3 three times.
