New Ice Install Help Needed

Right Looking To Replace All Standard Speakers In My Gti As Its Not Load Enough Lol And Was Wondering If Anyone Knows What I Should Put In Or Can Recommend Some Kit To Put In As I Have No Clue What Will Sound Good In It

Help Please

good headunit, 6x9 in the parcel shelf, 15cm speakers in the door cards behind front seat's, 20cm front speaker replacements, 1000watt amp, and to finish 12" sub woofer+amp

^^ i agree. halfrauds are sellin some infinity 6x9's half price, they sound good. replace all of the standard speakers as they sound wank, the front ones are a pain to get at as u have to remove the door card. the gto 1100w amps are good and pair it with a 12" 1000w sub. I cut a 10" box to fit it as it fits better in the almera.

You could start with the 6x9's they will make a huge difference and just replace it all gradually from there.

Infinity 6x9's, 5.25'' in front doors (bolt in using 3 of the 4 mounting points which is sufficient) 12'' subwoofer, 4 channel amp (JBL or infinity). Run the sub and rear shelf speakers from the amp and the fronts from the headunit. If you dont want a sub then buy a less powerful set of 6x9's (JVC are good for this) and run them from a smaller 2 channel amp. Done.

to be honest i'd say miss out the 6x9's...hate the things, and coupled with subs they get ruined with time, the sub will push too much air around them and kill them.

a good set of components and a sub, both run of an amp will be a good setup IMO

i've heard alot of good things about infinity kappa speakers, but i'm not really an ICE expert so everything i say may be crap :)

Dont get 6x9's in the parcel shelve. why would you want sound behind you pointing up at the roof?

Decent set of comps up front. sub in the boot and run it off decent four channel amp.

I take it we aint talking in real figures here? 1000watt? check the actuall out put of the amp
