Hi

We've had this car for 5 years and have been really chuffed with it, until now. We have a problem getting an ABS sensor at a reasonable price, bearing in mind the car's not worth much, but it's only done 45k miles.

We live in Cornwall and hope to keep the car for longer, if we can get that ABS sensor at a reasonable price!

All the best

More than likely, id think all N15 hubs are the same. The problem will be removing the sensor from the hub. So its gonna be easier to get a 2nd hand hub

This is indeed the problem, the ABS sensors often fall apart when you remove them, so second hand ones are hard to find.

Good grief, where have my manners been?!

just stumbled across this thread looking for something else. The problem was fixed with a 2nd hand hub for £20 from a breakers. The muppet who took it off did cut the cable the wrong side of the connecter! That was despite my instructions to cut the cable the other side of the connector. The breakers apologised and gave me a discount. Really disconnecting it would have been so easy. The garage mechanic managed to resolder it all and heat sleeve it.

It's been on the car 18 months now and it's fine.

Now it's the turn of some rear calipers. Discs and pads have been done but the calipers really are past their best, so they arrive next week and go on.
