Hi there everyone.

Just bought myself an Almera 1.5 SE 52 plate and I am really please with it, I previously drove a Peugeot 306. The first thing I noticed was how much better the braking is with the all round discs, no pressure required at all to bring the car to an :eek:alarmingly:eek: rapid halt but have now got used to it. Hope my first impressions carry on through our driving relationship.

One thing I would like to change is the radio/cd as I have a Sony with bluetooth which enables the use of a mobile in the car, very useful especially as it takes away any temptation to use the phone on the move. The fascia on my SE is greyish in colour but the fascia adaptors all seem to be black, does anyone know if I can get an adaptor to suit the grey trim and if so where???

People on here have found it very difficult to get a fascia adapter the same colour as the rest of the trim. Personally, I just sprayed mine the same colour as the car and it looks good IMO. Hope you find something suitable. I've got a spare ISO harness adapter if you need it. Cover the postage and its yours ;)
 
Thanks to you all for taking the time to reply, I thought that that would be a problem so dont know if I shall change the radio as it seems quite a good one and I might buy one of those Bluetooth hands free kits to keep the law happy.

Will no doubt be asking for your advice on matters Almera in the near future.

or get the black one, go to a paint shop and get a colour match and respray it.
 
Welcome to the club :) Yeah N16 brakes are bloody awesome for standard.

Oooo - my brakes are awful (but I know it needs new discs and pads) - sounds like I'm going to be putting myself through the windscreen every time I try to slow down a bit once it's done :lol:

Only ever seen black fascia adaptors however if you want to change the heater vents etc to match the colour I might have a set for sale in a bit.
