I've just got to say how impressed I am with the Nissan Almera, I've recently bought a 2001 1.5S for my ex so she can take my daughter places a bit easier than with a buggy and bus. I'll confess that I bought a bit of a shed, given it's not been serviced properly for a while and is literally covered in dents and scratches and we've had a few mechanical issues already and it's only been a month. I've driven it a couple of times and for a 2 hour drive back from where we bought it, it's really comfortable and the feel of the steering and pedals are great, the handling is excellent and I love the fact that despite it's neglect by previous owners you can run the engine, place a coin on the cam cover and it idles so smooth, it won't shake it off. It must be very well balanced. Can't wait to get it back to how it should be.
