Hey all,
I'm new here and have a bit of a problem.... I’ve got an Almera 02 1.5 and live in brum. I parked my car up one day close to a lorry depo, I was late for work and spaces in Birmingham that are free are hard to find during the day. I returned to my motor after work to find it had been hit in the rear light cluster and scratched pretty badly.... the driver of whatever hit me (I think it was a fork lift going by the damage) ran off and left my car for dead without any contact details....

Does anyone know a cheap body shop within the Birmingham area, which could help me suck out the dink in my boot and clean up the mess down the rear quarter of my car?

I'll post some pics tomorrow to show the state it’s presently in. I’ve attempted to use some patch up paint to stop rust and replaced both the rear clusters with Lexus lights.

Cheers,
Matteus

right for starters you wont get that dint out without leaving a ding mark as it has a pressure point rather than dished.

and secondly

haha

thirdly im a bit too far to help i think since im up in the north east

Crap so will it require a fill do you think? How much £££ we talking?

depends what prices are like down there ~TBH

but it only requires slight as most of it will come out you will be left with a slight pimple type look to it. hardly noticeable. but VERY noticable if you know its there unfortunatly.

they would most likely blow it into the rest of the boot and across to the light so it has a sharp line to go against.

you may be lucky they may have some on the shelf from a previous job. otrherwise you looking £100 plus due to prices etc, only buying in 1/2 litre. unless you feel confident in them doing it ¬ ALA fizzy tin stylee¬ or at least a 3 in 1 combo fizz tin ¬! which any acccomplished body tech should be able to sort.

As in everything Prep is more important than the spraying

meaning :

you cxan do it for £30

or £130

depends on the accomplished person and if they willing to do it for price of parts etc

other option is scrappers will do u one for £50 notes aslong as u find a clean one in your colour ;)
