hi all,
just got my first almera tino and i am quite impressed with it, so i thought i would head
over to a owners club and this is the first one that came up. i must say it looks a great site
and looking forward to having a look around and sort out a couple of issues as well as hopfully help a little.

Welcome along, not many Tino owners here which is a shame.

It is an N16 chassis. What engine do you have in there? Crying shame the N16 hatchbacks didn't get an sr20 option like the Tinos.

i got the 1.8 engine in her so god knows what that is lol. not that much up on these as you can tell.
so its a v10 and not the n16 chassis then, cheers for that cos i was getting a bit confused.
the only problem i got at the mo with her and that is shes burning a fair bit of oil, im hoping its not the rings
and just the valve seals, but from the little reading up ive read on here it could be a common problem with the
bores, hope not.
the only other problem is the cd player isnt working(not a big deal at all, more annoying cos i will have to replace it).

can someone tell me why some of the threads on the forum are private please like in the tech part. is it because you have to be a paid member?
