Hi everyone, I am a newbie from the isle of man. I have just bought a standard 99 black almera gti with 66K on the clock with full service history for 2grand. I rekon I did alright. What do u guys think?

Cheers fella. Am happy with her. I had a vtr before hand, it was modded to death but it was ragged (by me) and it was a saxo, so I had to get rid.

What is the best thing to start with on the Almera?

Induction,Lowering, exhaust??

Also, if I put 17's on it without it being lowered, will it look alright or like a tractor?
 
hi ya i am new too. But had my almera for years and only just paying it attention again had 17"s on it a year ago and it did look a bit of a monster truck but ya can get away wit it. But personally i am putting em back on next wk but lowering it soon after and then doing exhaust and induction. But good choice of mera!!
 
yeh i think you will want to lower it though on 17's with low profile tyres there now much differnt in diameter to the original wheels. as for power mods induction kit and full exhaust are good start.
