Newbie hello

Hello just thought id post to say hello, I have gone and bought an n15 ph2 almera gti in red, has hardly any rust :/ and is very tidy, mods on the car are, k&n and stainless exhaust. Im planning on using the car for track days and normal day use, so plans are to put coilovers on her to get rid of the massive wheel gap and handle better and maybe some 17's (undecided) I currently have a bmw e46 m sport 320d sat on 19's for my daily car so the almera is going to be my project!
Thanks for reading :)

Welcome,

There are a couple of red track cars on here so you should be in good company.

Welcome to the club mate,

I'd avoid 17's they're known to tramline with them on.

15s make an ideal track wheel size, as the tyres are cheap. Don't be silly like me and run expensive 16s.

Haha yea 16's would be a no no because of that reason! im used to tramlining after all im running 19's on my (daily) beemer ;)
Just that the almera's have such big arch gaps and a few yrs back a friend of mine had a gti ph2 on 17's & it looked well , just 5 spokes nothing fancy & 17's are cheap for tyres as well. :)

Still not as cheap as 15's though, keep 15's and put the money saved towards cams or something x x

Well by the looks this wont be going ahead after all :( due to unforeseen circumstances. Please see the for sale thread for pics and spec of the car :(
