newbie looking for run around

heya people basically i am looking for a run around motor, and quite like the idea of an almera so i reckon i can spend upto about £850, it has to be reasonably tidy and and doesnt have to have mods but would be nice lol

so i u got one gimme a shout
 
I think people were wary as we have had a lot of spambots with your name recently, how strange. Velcome to ze forumski.
Basically if you get a shell with as little rust as possible everything else is gravy.
 
Almeras have a proovan track record of being realy reliable and easy to work on, improve and modify...

altho there are not many on the shelf mods... anythings possible... check out some of the my rides section and get an idea of some mods that can "easily" be done with basic skills.

4. I think you'd have ato be a bit dim to not look on ebay or autotrader for said run about, very few run abouts are sold on here.
5. You might want to state which kind (spec) of Almera you're hoping to get for £850.

You could pick up a good 1.5 or if you're lucky a 1.8 N16 phase 1 for that money.
 
Steven sold his for £900 which back then was a silly bargain! Maybe because they are more rare up there? Like you know, cars? :lol:

Ed there are 13 N16 Almeras within 4 miles of my house ! Rarity is not a problem - robbing git dealers are ! :lol:

he sold it cheap as he could get the GTi cheap. it was worth a lot more then that. he could of sold the car easily for 1300 and then took the coilovers off and sold them for 350/400

I was planning to buy the car rip the coilovers off and fit them to my car and then sell the car but never in the end then the coilovers would of cost me nothing
