newbie looking for tips

new guy on the block, i'm looking for some tips on where best to buy mods for my 1.6 sri as every where i've been its mainly for the GTI.

also what gives the best performance?

i recently purchased a k + n but i need something beter!!

search the members rides section for threads by me, dale, cov, sri_alan, kelv or anyone else who has spent a bit on si/sri's, theres stuff available dude, you just gotta look for it

PM me if you want any help as I'm in Aberdeen also. Ebay and look for a ford focus induction kit is the best option.

that there will do the job, you basically want the cone filter over towards the battery to reduce heat soak

Then you want a cold air feed from the bumper or somewhere. After that you'll be looking at an uprated manifold and zorst system.
