Newbie Question time

Hi all,
I am new here and trying to make my wifes car a bit more appealing to her.
Its an N Reg Nissan Almera Saloon ,1.6 SRI.
I am looking at doing the back Exhaust Box for her at this stage. I was wondering if any of you out there who have "the Know" can tell me if this will fit???? Its the only thing I have found that may???

I enjoy tinkering and it sure is a fun car. Sadly seriously needs alot of touch up work done on the paint, seems to be bumps and scratches on all four corners. We only just got the car and it came like that :(

cool there are very few salons in england.
ad for the back box all i can tell you is that from the cat back all N15 (upto 1999) almeras have the same exhaust.
they seem exspensive mate i got a full cat back system for £240
 
Where did you get your back system from mate? If I may ask? Its performance right? Not standard.
Any links you care to post if you have any? :O

Longlife or power flow are resonable for pukka custom made systems, my preference being Longlife as they use better quality materials.

All I am interested in in the mean time is the back exhaust box.

search for motech on the internet and give them a ring ask for a scorpion cat back system think it will be £260 plus £10 postage.
or wait for it to come back on ebay again

i got mine for 240 because there was a small dint on the silencer
 
Why do you just want a back box?....performance? looks?

Performance wise you probably may just gain 1 BHP with just a back box.
If you just want looks just buy a finisher trim.
Sorry in my opinion an Almera saloon with a big. bad bass. loud tail pipe will look pretty stupid.

Ps. the primera one in your link wont fit and steer clear of scorpion as they are a terrible fit.

janspeed may do a direct replacement back box.
 
sup. I got a longlife backbox on my 1995 n reg saloon 1.6....i thinkit cost 130, can't quite remember...will look it up exactly if ur interested...go saloon power!!!
 
Hey buddy

Rowdy, think from what he said in his first post, he's looking for something that will look nice.

I got a powerflow backbox fitted for £140, so pretty reasonable.

Sign up to the forums mate, you'll find loadsa advice on making the car look sweet! :D
