Newbie, with a small query

Hey folks, thot id come and say Hi.

I just bought a 2001 Almera 1.5 E :D tonite and as StevenC is always going on about the AOC I thot id check it out.

Wonder if any of you can offer me some advice.

There are 2 pipes (possibly breathers) on the rear near side of the engine bay, just next to the strut top. There is a group of these going in a few directions but 2 of them are just U bends with open ends?

The car seems to run fine so not concerned at the min, just want to check Im not missing something?
 
one is most definately the gearbox fella! should follow back and sit on top of the box itself if i recall..

second again if i recall comes from the servo on the rear bulkhead!

as you predict though you dont need to worry they do sound like the appropriate breathers!

one i have used previously on an older gti i had to refill the gearbox oil :D

Welcome to the club Wullie!! These guys are the best, honestly!

Joe - It is not, no. I'd never have sold to anyone local, woulda broken my heart every day haha. It's still a shame Mick's not on that much tho as it won the show and shine at Jap North East in August so he must be looking after it :)

Pick the car up on Saturday so will get pics up soon. (got a pile of coursework due over the next fortnight so mite be a while.)
