Hello All,

Not the best start as already made a spelling error to my registration name ( should be 'the lynch effect') blame the fat fingers!! Anyway to jump in with a question first off, has anyone heard of Jperformance? they make 4-2-1 manifolds for almeras but cant seem to get a response from them ( maybe they dont need the money?) and are they any good? any help would be great cheers!!

There was a huge debate about them some months ago. Some people said they were great & rated their manifolds, others said they were dodgy & waited ages for any sort of response. To be honest I'm quite confused as to whether they are still trading & if so - can they be trusted for the reasons you've already given ?
 
You're assuming it's for a GTi. Profile says it's a 1.8 Sport so that means it's an N16. Your options are Jperformance or eBay US I would assume.
 
cheers guys ( or girls )! i thought it was too good to be true when i saw them months ago, i e-mailed them several times over the past 4 months and heard nothing- as long as you've had similar experiences and nice to know that they just dont like me! I have been looking for an exhaust manifold ( or header) on US websites but still found nothing!! any tips or info as i would like to be able to do something to my almera rather than sell it to get something quicker( noo!!) I would like to say at this point i am a qualified mechanic so fitting bits isnt a problem, just knowing where to get it!!! thanks again all!

Are you signed up to qg18de.net ? I bet there's a wealth of upgrade parts people can tell you about on there. mostly US based of course, but still.
 
Would be good to see if the header in the link is any good though. I expect they'll be reviews and opinions on those forums.
