Hi everyone i get my almera gti tmrw nice car i will send pics when i get it. Just a problem any body no about the keyfobs ive only got one with the car and one key but the fob dont work every time u put a new battery in it it goes dead within seconds i dont no if the alarm works can anyone help me

welcome along jay k, seems to be a common problem with nats on these, i think theres a way to reprogram them, there should be a few topics on this already, do a search for it and you should find some helpful information!

to reprogram nats you need the MASTER KEY, if you havent got one, then you have 2 options, nissan fix (4-500 quid) for new nats from nissan or do as i did, £130 toad alarm thatcham 1 mutch better:D

i think its a plastic key but never havin one i dont know lol, to tell if its the master you have to do something like turn the ignition on and off so many times in so many seconds, and the lights will flash, do a search its been covered a lot
 
Writing might've worn off fob tbf, but master only has one button. Battery dying is similar problem to what I've had - dunno how to solve it tho... I've tried resetting as well, but it was having none of it... :rolleyes:

Welcome btw - you are guaranteed shedloads of fun now. Commuting turned from a chore into a pleasure when I got my GTi :) :cool:
