Newbie's repair list

Since having the 'mera, I decided to get it looked at so I knew what needed doing to it. Hadn't been serviced in a while, so I didn't have a clue.

Here's the list:

1 spring broken (Passenger side rear)
Heating/aircon only blows out hot sir, whether you want it to or not!
Seat belt ripped
4 new tyres
break pads
Leaking oil sump pan
LPG system needs servicing
New alternator belt
All this, plus a full service.

So far, the service and survey cost me £220
4 new pirelli P6000's, plus break pads, £300

Whilst everyone said I should sell it and get a cheap 'smaller' car, I hate ditching anything just because it needs work doing, plus I love the car and have a 100 mile round trip to work every day.
I'll keep you posted with progress and wallet damage.

Yeah, I sent mine in for an oil change a couple of weeks ago and needed 2 new tyres and pads and a complete suspension alignment. £270.

Now it's got a knocking from the back on deep bumps, hope to god it's something cheap (exhaust) and not something horribly expensive (fucked coilover).

And don't get me started on how much it's going to cost to get the scrapes, dents and dings that various inconsiderate bastards have done to it in carparks.

Got 2 new Falkens for £125 yesterday & bought some oil for £20 to do a mid-service oil change. This might sound like a placebo effect, but I honestly think I can feel the engine running smoother now.
