Yes another question! :lol: On ebay there are nismo sellers claiming there 's a nismo thermostat fitting for our sr20de. Can anyone confirm nismo is really selling thermostat products for the sr20de.

I had one in my car when I got it I removed it and put a standard one back in, only really needed if your sitting at the top of the rev range for long periods of time but even then the stock thermostat is more than capable

I 'v done that really, i do many research but still have many doubts.

a nismo thermostat can make a 5 bhp difference if i need to believe google

cooler intake temps will have an effect on power Im not buying that about the thermostat though

imo there would be a small gain (with some timing advance) but at the expense of mpg and emissions
more gains to be had by avoiding intake heatsoak imo (ie, t/b waterheating bypass, triple gaskets, a heatshield under the mani and lagging on the water pipe)

I readed some off the stuff on the topic though. Some also say u 'll screw up your engine , other side some claim small gains and many discussion about running a cooler or heater thermo
