nissan 1.5 saloon 2003 acceleration problem

my nissan starts then after 5 mins it won't accelerate even when i put pedal to floor it wont go over 1000 rpm got diagnostics put on it came up with cam sensors so i changed them both still the same so i changed plugs and oil and air filter also oil change and cleaned the throttle body but to no avail still the same any ideas would be great hope its not the timing chain the car only has 56000 on the clock and is in mint condition.

so is it a case of new timing chain or can it be adjusted. if its a new chain how much? anyone know any decent mechanics in north east england that won't charge me the earth.
