Nissan audio / steering wheel controls

Im about to buy a Nissan Almera, and i was wondering if i can change the cd player as well as keeping the steering wheel controls working. (steering wheel controls)

is there away of doing this, if so what would i need and how would i be able to do it?

What year N16 do you have?

It can be done,I did it when I had my mera but the options were limited

I had a Clarion head unit and adapter,the fitting was easy as was all plug and play,I just had to get a faceplate adapter to fit a standard headunit.All the stuff I got was through RAM Audio in Hull,Hope this helps.
