Cheers for the run in it a few weeks ago bud.

Quick car, especially for the stocker turbo!

350 HP on the stock T28 maybe too mcuh for it.

Be careful not to over rev the turbo then bye bye motor!!!

strange place to put the oil cooler but i suppose there aint much room anywhere else

japs are taking to mounting the oil cooler on the outside of the bumper but i like the top mount idea but dosnt it reduce the oil presure
??????

I have a few Mates with Gti-R's and they place the oil cooler on top too, because theres a good source of air coming through the bonnet vent.

If you think about it, the intercoller used to be above the engine. Having a front mount now allowed for the space to put a top mount oil cooler right inline with the vents. It keeps the oil cool never seen it got high at all when given it a good bit of boost.

Spen: You don't want to reduce the oil preasure in the car. My car has done over 100k not sure if that is still in Klm but the clocks have been changed and it is running a good 6 bar of preasure.

Dave: The car is off the road with a fucked tubby, the seals are away on it and they where goosed when I bought the car. The guy just said it was overfueling and I took his word for it. Got a new tubby now, GT2840 (good for 400bhp) was going to get the GT3071R  but thought about it and Im looking to keep the car reliable at the moment. Once I get the re-build I will re-consider getting the GT3071R.

Also sold the Front Mount and waiting on my new one comming, sold the BOV and replacing it with a Greddy one, might consider getting a new manifold. Dave where did you get yours and how much?

Mic
