Not currently an almera owner

Hey, I'm jojo and currently drive a clio, but plan on owning an almera gti as my next car. I was swayed towards the almera gti after reading an article on pistonheads a while back and being in my friends gti. I hope it's ok that I post here.
I just want to increase my knowledge about the cars so when the time comes to change I will be more prepared.
 
welcome along, plenty of information here that will help you with your selection and also on maintaining and modding your almera.

also check the for sale section now and again as there are always some nice GTi's to be found.

Welcome. Would this be the thread where the Almera got slated then bunch of us joined up and defended it and posted up pics? lol
 
Thanks mate.
Realisticly it's going to be another year until i can get the almera as I have to finish my last year at uni and can't afford to run anything for that year.
At least that gives me time to learn about the car and find a mint example.
I'm sure I will be keeping an eye on the for sale section :)

It's just what i've been called by my friends for 15 years so it's pretty much my name now.

Yeah that would be the thread, with people saying it was a "barry boy" car and the like.

I guess your defense did some good as it convinced me that was the car for me!
