Hey Sup Guys,
i have recently introduced myself into the world of mera modding. i have had my 1.4 si for bout a month now good car on an R plate with only 36k on the clock!!!! (Result)
Only problem is car way too slow! But i gotta get used to that now! (Sold FTO cause insurance NEED TO BUY HOUSE)
Beside that actually quite liking it! I so far have thrown on a 6" can. (was gunna go on FTO) Looks sweet sounds better!!!! next on thelist is a set of 40mm drop springs. Here is where i need help, my almera is a pre sept 97' and i am having probs fining out the diameter of the springs i need to buy. so if anyone out there could tell me it would be much appreciated!

Jesus, must be about an inch off the ground!

Get on buypartsby.co.uk or needforspeed.co.uk, they've got some springs on there, go to search by car on the bottom left
 
It's not far off it. Jut wondering what will happen when it's dropped. should be ammusing thanks for that. I will have a look! :)
 
lol you will be scraping off the ground....dont get coilovers :eek: ull have no exhaust left ;) :D

i know at the moment i just cant find anyone who does more then a 35mm drop. i just put some 17's on her today now the zust is a little higher off the ground. car looks a little bit like a tractor at moment reall have to drop it now!
 
the max your gonna get with lowering springs is 35mm unless you start chopping coils of :lol2:
just look for lowering springs for non GTi models pre <98 & you'll be fine !
 
it's ok now cobra do a 40mm drop springs and i have had them fitted :D

To be honest m8 speed doesn't bother me cause the car is slow as anyway. It only a 1.4!
I tuned my FTO up for a bit then got rid of her so i just stuck on the can that was going on the FTO. :D
