Odd Electrical Gremlin

Bit of an odd one this and has only happened a few times. Basically either you turn the ignition on or start the engine, it will run for about 5 seconds before cutting out and the engine management light flashing. After this the car will turn over, everything electrical works but it won't start. I'm almost certain the fuel pump is cutting out, as the first time it did this it blew the fuel pump fuse. However when it's done it since (think 5 times in total) it hasn't blown any fuses. I've discovered it's something to do with the IGN ACC fuse (to the right of the battery.); it doesn't blow but if you take it out, wait a few seconds then put it back in the car starts and runs as normal.

Every other time it's only done this when the engine was stone cold, but tonight it did it when warmed up. However I've stopped and started the car probably 200 times since I bought it (delivery driver) and it's only happened a few times. I'll get a replacement engine fuse anyway and clean the contacts but beyond that any ideas?
