Lo everyone.

Just picked me up a Ph1 Almera GTi over the weekend. Had to downsize from my beloved Primera GTLE as I can afford a new car but can't afford a new Mrs :D

Almera seemed the only option, as I loved the Primera, plus...I always think that nissan's in general are overlooked, and are that little bit different from the usual Astra Corsa etc etc

Neways, thought I'd say hello, I'll need some pointers to get the car back in tip top shape.....been a little neglected, so I'll pop my 15 bucks in the post this week :cool:

you can tell us how they compare then and if the suspension on the back of the primera makes them that much better.

Well, Primera has been lowered with 17" Kei wheels and is lorrrvely and sits brilliant on the road. But 'tis a big bus, to be honest i think the almera will be better for chucking about when i sort out the suspension and wheels. Its tighter as its smaller, which I think i'll prefer

Can't compare to the Almera just now as my 2 rear shox need done, feels like a monster truck just now :roll:

From Largs....I have noticed a shortage of GTi's round here

Will hopefully get to a meet once I sort out the problems with the car and get it the way I want it(I love a challenge). Made some money on the Primera so luckily I have a head start. Hope to see ya around m8

its the p10 that has the independant rear suspension, GTLE will be a p11 which has got the same/ very similar rear suspension to the almera. p11 and n15 are both a beam at the rear
