oulton park=awesome!

anyone drove it? im looking at doing the half day there on the 16th. think im gonna get sum new brake pads before though and maybe front tyres but i think they'll be ok.
how good a track is it for a beginner? iv done a little track driving before, 25 min session at silverstone and been round donnington in a mini cooper s with an instructer and then in a single seater race car.
anyone got any tips or advise?
also do you think its worth me taking out my back seats just for abit of lightening?

I've booked the half day on the first on december...get on that one.

I've been there quite afew times, but never drove it..But it looks a great track.
 
I drove the full international circuit last year in my 205 GTI. Its a brilliant track with some very good technical corners. Have to do it again soon!

Watch out for druids (after the uphill straight) though. - It can be difficult to judge the which line and what speed to take it.

yeh i saw your name on the december one kurt, i would do that one but i want to do it sooner rather than later because of weather really. saying that though it will probably p*ss it down on my day and be dry on yours lol.

well went yesterday and it was awesome! a great track, loads of fun to drive, prefer it by far to donny n silverstone. id recommend it to anyone, my missis took some pics, there not great but ill get um up soon as i can.

Nice one, mines 2 weeks today. What was the track like damp?
 
no dry, cold though so guess that might have made it abit slippier but seemed fine to me. didn't reck my tyres any where near as much as i thought but my brakes took a right beating! lol. you'll love it though, the track has just got everything, high banked corner, chicanes, lots of ups and downs lol a really exciting and fun track. also cant put a single fault against easytrack too.
