p1 and p2 alloys are they the same ? and are they changable from a p1 onto a p2??

just got a p2 and for some reason the p1 alloys dont fit it. are the pcd different or has someone changed the hubs that had the car before me or something as my p1 nissan alloys which are 4 x 100 wont fit the p2

can anyone give me some info please

yer thats what i thought too till i tryed putting then on and for some reason the wheel went on but couldnt get all four threads to line up in the centre of the alloy holes to tighten the bolts onto at all???

Are they standard GTi items mate?
Also check that there's no shit around the central round shaped bump in the middle of the hub, or check that someone hasn't fitted one of them dodgy covers that cover up the main driveshaft out, thats maybe quite big and won't allow an alloy..
If you understand what I mean.

All almeras are 4x100pcd.. Surely.

yer done all that and the alloy still wont go on. tryed all 4 alloys on different sides and non of them go on at all. iv had 6 gtis p1 and p2 and this is the first time iv come across this. my p1 alloys are standard gti wheels. when putting on the p1 they go on easily with the back flat plate of the alloy hitting the flat plate of the hub around the central round shaped bump.

but when i put it on the p2 the two plates do not touch at all and also have noticed that when i tighten one bolt i cannot get the others threads to line up properly to get the bolts on

iv even tried taking the alloy inner ring bit off that slots in the alloy at the back to try and get it to fit but no luck

do you think the hubs have been changed ?

just thought this was weird as a while back i brought some bbs alloys that were on a primera gt and the guy told me he brought them from a guy who had them on a almera gti but when i tryed fitting them they wouldnt fit as they were 4 x 114.3 and im definatly sure that all almera's are 4 x100

I dunno then mate.. Are hub swaps even possible??
I've never known anyone on here thats done a hub swap, saying that I've only been on here a year or so.

Maybe someone's decided to fit primera or similar hubs..
That would be well wierd though lol

just my bloody luck that happening to me.

got the car cos it was the tropical green colour as iv had all the other colour's bar this and this has been a pain since iv had it. il have to wait and see if anyone else knows why they wont fit

no rest of the car is completely standard excpet the light tinted windows

got the car from a lad i know who deals in salvage and as it was to cheap to say no i brought it. they are steels at the min but even them arnt the proper ones as when you move it the wheels wobble cos they dont fit properly either

its the first I've heard of that happening its really quit odd maybe its had new hubs on surely you would replace faulty ones with direct replacements. Have the alloys got spigot rings on them? If so remove them. Would be nice too know what the problem was keep us informed

Cheers garnz

he sats they don't fit anywhere...

hub replacement would be logical... but all 4?

my alloys never fitted... :( wouldn't go over the hub cover on the rears :(
