p1 side skirt fixings

hi i have tryed searching but cant find anythin as of yet.
basicaly i have 2 phase 1 gtis and i have taken the side skirts off one to put on the one i drive.
now there is a screw either end which is easy and the same with the mastic but under the car ther were 3 or 4 little c channel clamps which hold the skirts to the sil. mine are so corroded they cant be used again so i have tryed to get new one but missan dont make them any more and a few fixing companies cant help either.

so if u have had the same problem please tell me how u tackled it

i would put a glob of tigerseal where the clips usually go, but between the skirt and car obviously.... dont fully seal the skirts. trapping water isnt good......
 
tiger seal along the sill, and self tappers at the arches front and rear will do the trick

my old ph1 items were on solid like that.
