Paul i wouldnt even consider doing this. we've changed loads of these under warranty, they are nothing like as good as the Phase 1 headlights, they are plastic instead of glass, fill up with condensation, and theyre just crap. this is just an opinion of course. lol.

Well i've heard about people spraying headlights by shoving them in an oven til the lense comes off - fancied doing this to a P2 and colour code it (professionally done of course) to the same colour as my car

Would be the cheapest way to get Morette-style lights on the car - just playing with the idea

Fuck aye!! I'd have the 1.6 (for economical and insurance reasons) - quite good spec list... Only 2 options i'd have out the whole list - iPod connectivity and Bi-Xenon Headlights

The Eos is a girly pile of wank! Please dont buy one! Had a bloke in work the other day who chopped in an RX8 for one, 1st three letters of his reg plate are MI5, he has the word 'spooks' printed at the bottom and he wears a fleece with the James Bond/Secret service crest on it.

Difference between me and him mate is i aint any of three things: -

1) Dillusional
2) Queer
3) Been buggared at a young age causing all of the above reasons to happen

I had said on another post that its between this and hopefully PhillyT's VZR on the Autotrader the now...

Either pay £3k for a rare hatchback (with a tad bit high mileage) or pay £20k for a brand spanking CC on finance...

Or putting it another way, getting a used high performance hatchback with a service history of some sort or getting a brand spanker with a guarantee, a warranty and/or service plan...

Performance or peace-of-mind?

Decisions, decisions...

PMSL! Ha, fair enough. Its due to him that i hate them but go for a bigger engined one if you can. Its not a small car and i can see you getting pissed of with a gutless 1.6.

On the other hand...

Buy a VZR!!!!!!!!

LoL i like performance but my driving career doesn't depend on it... If i have a car with a 1.6i that goes and gives me 35mpg (which the Eos does and my Mera simply doesn't) i'm cool
