After installing a conical air filter on my diesel, I soon removed it due to it sounding like a bloody tractor. However, have any of you guys any experiences of performance panel air filters and are they any good or would I just be wasting £55?

got a K&N pannel filter on mine, doesnt make it sound any different but is supposed to be better than the standard part.
i'm thinking of going for a performance panel air filter meself.. probably down the same road as dagnut!
