phase 1 blue v 2 blue, what's the difference?

Can I have some pics of the above ?

I am a total newbie and want to get an SRi. I have a BMW E30 320iSE at the moment but want something more modern with some comforts like air con :cool:

Did Nissan make one in bronze, the same as the P11 SRi?

thats phase 1 blue, there is a dark non metallic blue aswell but i have only seen a few in that. phase 2 blue is darker and imo nicer, someone will have a picture of one shortly

What difference is there when it comes to styling and engines etc?

engines are the same, in terms of stlying there are different bumpers, sideskirts (on the GTi's) head lights, rear lights, grilles, number plate surrounds and probably a few other little pieces, on the whole the p2 is nicer to look at and with the way prices are now there isnt much difference really, down to personal choice really, i have got a p1 and im after the p2 lights etc so if your like that it may work out cheaper to buy a p2 in the first place but its up to you
 
Thanks M8 I think I prefer the look of the P2 I will look out for one of those. I will probably go for the Sri rather than the GTi due to the cheaper running costs.
How much should I be looking to spend for a mint one?

Br3n is selling a pretty mint black SRi. You'd be looking at less or around 2k for a late low mileage I would have said. Lot of car for the money but 3 doors are fairly rare and a quick scout on the trader didnt reveal any decent phase 2's.

What's this blue called and do you know the colour code?

I deffinately think the P2 Blue is for me. :rolleyes: I will wait my time till the right P2 Blue SRI one comes along.
 
the code is BS7 mate. definately get one this colour looks great when it kept cleans and well waxed. lovely deep shine!! as above

Thanks Matt, that's the colour for me then. As i said I will keep on the look out for one till a decent SRi comes along :lol:
 
was the SRI available in that colour? just thinking i cant remember seeing any, seen SI's and GTi's in that colour but never an SRI i dont think
 
Yeah i've seen one 5 door SRi in that colour, must admit it's the only one, i thought the black ones were rare enough!
