ARE RUBBISH!

Havent even fitted mine yet and it's broken! Why? Because I accidentally dropped a LIGHTWEIGHT MATTRESS on it! A SOFT MATTRESS! And it's gone and split the edges and needs repairing before fitting. The only unbroken things are the skirts now both splitters need major overhaul! :mad: :mad: No wonder you see hybrid Phase 1/2s as the bodykits are so much thicker and durable!

I prefer the look of phase 1 kits but the build quality is absolute shite. :mad:
 
yeah i was surprised at the quality difference between my old phase 1 side skirts and the new phase 2's

the phase 1's were like paper, the phase 2's are much heavier a much thicker material
 
It seems they learnt their lesson then... am definately going to get a fibreglass front splitter for the SRi now.
 
Hard luck mate. Having worked on both bodykits i must agree the P1`s are pants! P1`s are alot lighter though..........
 
As long as you're careful with them they're fine - the skirts / splitters on mine are in pretty good nick as I tend to steer clear of kerbs and matresses.

you just had to fit the lightness coment in didnt you :lol: i think you need counciling for post dramatic weight saving sindrome :D

:lol2: He's got the right idea. Although the almera isn't the best platform for lightness.
 
Looks like this week isnt a great one.
Today managed to fill the boot with 1 and a half litres of engine oil and also break the GTi drivers seat!
Ah well, to look on the bright side:
:: Possibility of bucket seats
:: Splitter will be fixed up for definate
:: Manky boot carpet can go!
 
Corbs are you slowly vandalising the GTi so you can persuade your gf to let you strip it out?
 
I`ve seen you looking at mine and making plans for your own car ! .........oh and i think i still have a boot carpet knocking around next time your at mine. ( when your exhaust drops off! ) ;)

Will probs take you up on that offer (Carpet is soaked with oil), although will have to find some other excuse to come around as the exhaust is pretty solid! Bodykit fitting? :P
