ive got a S reg 98 sri i know this might sound like a stupid question but would my motor be a phase 1 or 2

You can tell, if the rear lights are the flat multicolour its p1, if they are the red and white bubble kind its p2.
 
lights can be changed easily mate best way to check is the bee sting ( the ariel at the rear on on the door pillar)

no probs ive had the car 5 months and only drove it 3 times as im trying to get it to its best before i take it out. i plan on taking it to the mini meet that will be my first time to really open her up.

do u know how to debadge and de-globe, give me a pm
