Phase 2 Digital Clocks

Does anyone know if the phase 2 digital clocks will work in the phase 1.
Surely if the phase two is digital mileage how does the phase 1 deal with it due to the phase 1 being standard mileage clocks. I understand that the needles should work and the lights just not sure about the digital bit.

Pretty much.

All the connections on the back of the clocks are indentical though, so they just plug straight in BUT it's wired up differently.

If you are looking for alternatives, there was a buy of custom indigo dials for Phase 1's a while ago, try searching (Or PM minigibb_gti as I think he has some on his car).
