phase 2 lights!!

Iv had a idea been thinking here. phase 2 lights take them apart as you do and spray the black bit/silver bit same colour as the car. i think it would look good on a blue / green car. can anyone photoshop this??

I think 'Whitey' did this to his SRi a good few years back now. His was red and he did exactly what you just said. There was a how to guide I think he created if I remember right.

P1 lights benefit from a little judicious black spray.
Ive just finished mine, and am quite pleased!
P2 units I wouldnt mess with though, they are good as they are.

Whitey did his 'wrong' for P2 GTi imitation lights anyway. Jockrock has done the same, intentionally, in black and its not bad.

i've seen similar checkered (SP?) effect on some Astra headlights... dont know if you can get them from Halfords like... but P2 headlights are fine as they are and P1 look good Modded like Jockrock's... IMO
