phase 2 rear lights

hi

i was just wondering what spec car has this

the reason i ask is when i go to the scrappy to see if they have any i end up describing them and i can tell they dont care and cant be bothered to look

so when they ask me what car it is what sort of spec shall i reel off to them i.e year ....

The Phase 2 (1998-1999) has this lights.

just do a search mate, the ground has been covered a dusin times!

i have done a search but i didnt think it came up with exactly what i wanted to know so i thought id ask to be sure....

Scrappys are not likely to have them as most phase 2's are still on the road. You might want to try finding some old biddy with a standard P2 and do a part exchange on the rear lights.

when you say that do you mean someone thats older than 21 ?!

who ever said the Almera was an old mans car?....sometimes i wish the average age of AOC club members was more than 21, or at least the mental age was over 7.
 
Haha, to be fair mate in my town there are several Almeras (More P2 than P1s) and me and Matt are the only 'young' owners! The rest are definately over 30 (Some are WAAAAY over 30). On my run to work theres at least 3 Phase 2's with 'old' owners, one of them just sits in a car park all day (My mates Boss's car, as he uses the company car :( ) their rear lights making a mockery of me...
 
in his defence, most almeras I spot, including GTi's are driven by the elder generation, besides, I think his point was find someone whos not into cars and offer them a partex. Light for light (hehe :P)
 
i have tried it. woman lives across the road from me with a 5dr sri. tried to get the front bumper with fogs and colour coded mirrors. she picked it up at auction for £450. and won't even part with it. absolutley gutted!!!
