hi everyone, ive been looking at maybe buying some 17's for my ph2 GTi.
my request is, does anyone have any pictures of a ph2 GTi with 17's with stnd suspension. red N15's would be a bonus.


btw the alloys im looking @ are buddy club - p1 racing.

Ian (ALMERA_GTI), but he sold it now, with the coilovers, open mouth grille, full exhaust and intake system, all of it still on!
Those coilovers were on bigal's black gti, then his silver one, but he sold the silver one back to the guy he bought it from, who was a mate of Ian's and complained the ride was too stiff, so Ian got daiyama coilovers for £150..... BASTARD!
 
My opinion from personal experiance.

An Almera with standard suspension and 17's is way too high off the floor, and the gap in the fromt arch looks massive.

Even lowered 35mm the gaps are quite large, but far better, and if your spending the money buying 17's, its worth your while buying some springs aswell. I found a set of gaz shocks at £25 a corner were well worth the money aswell.

Coilovers look amazing, but are expensive.

My almera, lowered 35mm still looked high...

That's odd, mine's lowered 30mm and looks a lot lower than that!
 
I knew I`d got one somewhere! :roll:

My GTi the day after I got it from Kelv.

Wearing 17" Kei Racing Force10s, as previously fitted to the N16 behind. :D

Yeah was about 110,00 IIRC. He said if it hadnt been for the mileage he probably would have kept it.
