The FRP...fibre reinforced plastic is around £375 if i`ve calculated it properly.

......basically a light bonnet without the fancy carbon fibre.
 
I don't know if people are only wanting carbon fibre bonnet for the lightweight factor or the look but there is a very good garage who do show car's etc up my way who have this process where they can dip anything from your car to make a finish, carbon fibre look being one of them, snake skin and all random thing's. One of the only places in UK with the means to do so. Very good stuff i've been told. Here's the site (but they don't mention this process on the site)
