Possible problem??....

Howdy! Hopefully you might be to help me.... ive got a strange juddering feeling when changing gear, and also the car cant stay at steady low speed without it juddering. Any ideas what it could be? Or has anyone else had this problem? It started doing it a few days ago and hasnt gone away...

any help would be great! cheers!
 
....but it only started doing it a few day ago. Could be a worn clutch or one that needs adjusting.
 
makes sence to me, had a new clutch a few thousand miles ago and now pootling along at 30 in 3rd/4th it makes a gentle bunny hopping motion but is rather annoying, worth checking your clutch adjustment and ill do the same :)
 
im not saying new clutch and a stiff pedal could be a worn cable but less likely.

just check the adjustment first.

my last clutch was verrrrry heavy and slips from a decent rev launch but driving normally it was fine
 
oh joy, what sort of price is a new clutch? does anyone know? :eek:

Search Transco on the site, got a ga16 box for £40 i think, + sussexgti's gracefull hands for the mechanical part.
You could always upgrade :) fidanza flywheel anyone:D
 
ok thanks, ive been looking around and ive found a couple.... Anyone got an 'Exedy' clutch fitted? they are said to be uprated. I dont mind paying a little more for a clutch if its gonna be better!
 
Mine does this cuz my mounts are shagged... And it got worse when i uprated the clutch and flywheel bcuz obvoiusly the mounts now take more abuse.
