Power Steering Pump

Hi, would like to ask why does my steering wheel start to shake when i go over 70mph...Im thinking it could have something to do with the power steering pump...could anyone tell me if im anything close to the solution of my problem....many thanx to your responses

It could just be your wheels need re-balancing mate, mine had a similar problem.

Hi...guess i found out the problem....I swapped the front wheels with the rear..and bingo no more hand massage from the steering wheel...but anywayz gonna re-ballance them just to be sure. But the good thing is that i can go fast again

hi guys i need to top up my power sterring fluid but i unsure which fluid to top it up with,i got a almera gti 99,thx for your help.

Hi...ahm I checked my handbook and they mentioned a gerbox fluid....specificaly "DEXRON" might check that.
But its only a suggested fluid, dont know any more bout that.

thx mate yeah it says just use tht dexron in mine just was'nt sure if there different grades or something.

I just used regular power steering fluid from halfords, they were the only place open and only sold 1l bottles though!
