Price of a VZR?

Just wondering what sort of price range VZR's are over here in the UK. I may be looking for something to replace my p10 egt when i finish uni, and have allways fancied a vzr. Only trouble is i'm a bit anal so it would have to be spanking underneath.

Ive seen a few between 2-3k, is it worth finding a mint GTi and ve'ing it? Is there anywhere that imports them especially as most import places typically focus on evos skylines and all that jaz.....

VZRs will not suffer the same sort of rust that UK cars would get, if you get one from Japan directly (or through an importer) you should find that there isn't any rust underneath.
 
Kurt sold one with a bit of a prang for 3k not long ago.

I think you're lookin 3-4k for a nice one, but they don't come up for sale very often.

Thats the sorta thing im after, just hopefully not a rip off price :) Im just sortof future thinking as i may be looking for one in the summer. Ive allways fancied one since i had my n15 as my first car and would like something a bit younger than my p10 whilst maintaining the revvy goodness which a vzr would have more of so it sorta ticks all the boxes...
 
Speak to an importer they can maybe try get somethin sorted for you.

Not cheap to do these days but it'll get you a fresh import / first uk owner etc.

Yeh i know i think its worth it tho, my mate was the first uk owner of his starlett and i looked underneath and nearly puped myself cos of how fresh it was!
 
I was very lucky with what I payed for mine in Japan, but they still become expensive once you bring them over.

For a nice grade 4 you'll pay about 5k OTR.
 
Also, excuse my ignorance but what are the different specs of VZR out there? i know theres the autech, n1 etc but what are the differences? I know the n1 has different cams but thats all i know of....
 
n1-200bhp, ported polished standard, diff cams, most are lighter weight, (im sure some1 will add alot more)
Lucino Vzr- just diff interior, Rare Rear Back lights and open mouth grill
