problem fitting bucket seat!!

i started to fit my bucket seat to the original rails but ive hit a snag, i need to flip one of the brackets around but the rail is stopping it from rotating around, did any of you have this problem and how can i get around it?? is it posable to take the bottom of the rail off completly so as it can spin or is there another way of doing it!

any bit of help would be really apreciated
thanks

its weird one of the rails is designed differently to the other, one fits perfect but the other dosnt, its a omp seat thats supose to use the normal rails, i might have a look for that but iv already got the seat so i dont realy want to go buying more. can youu use a four point harness with the gtir seats

i'd try and use the runners from a 4 door Almera that don't recline and find a way of either welding or bolting them to the OMP's that might work.

not a bad idea ya i was thinking that maybe using a standered set of rails she's a 1.4sport so the seats are very a justable, im going to try and get the backet cut in such a way so as it slides off from the pin thats holding it in den put it back on up side down and get it welded onto the frame. hopefully that might work. i think is worth a try before i go and get new rails

When I first fitted mine, I used EK Civic rails and runners (aftermarket) they bolt straight upto N15 holes bar one which needs a small 135* bracket making for it to fit.....very easy though.

But now I have a Bride set especially for the N15.
