problem with my sr20!

put a load of new bits on the last couple of days, stainless manifold, new intake piping, and new ht leads, my car now pulls and backs off between 3-4k, if im booting it, or if im just pootling...i used the sensor in the exhaust manifold that was given to me, im about to change it over to my old one, but aside from that, is there anything else that it could be? leak from a breather hose?!?

any help appreciated, ive looked at most of it, and think the sensor is the last port of call...

If you meen that theres a slight dip in the acceleration all GTi's suffer from it,
Its a dip in torque between 3-4k revs, cams, sprockets and a good mapping will sort it though.
 
i know there a slight dip normally, but it really goes for it since ive changed the manifold and such, ive just changed the sensor in the manifold to see if it makes a difference, the old one was covered in shit, the one i put in was my old one which was in pretty good condition...
 
yea, its not direct, ive got a bracket in my front fog light, and tubing going up into the wing and out onto the induction kit...so its not collapsing. anyway, i think ive sorted it with the lamda (sp?) will just have to find out...
