proud new owner

hi all, stumbled onto this site a few days ago and think its time t say hello.
i bought my almera 1.8 sport+ on tuesday and am thrilled to bits about this car. no need to say that it is a huge step up from my last (and first) car.... a N reg clio 1.2 lol.
here are a few pics of my car

im thinking of adding a few little mods to the car,, nothing OTT but just to give it a little flavor.... any ideas would be very welcome.

thanks

Welcome mate, a few simple mods could be de-badging the rear, a p2 rear wiper, and get it lowered a bit. The gaps in the wheel arches on these cars are huge!

There's quite a few links to body kit on the forums as well, from subtle to OTT.

haha i tried to make it so only the car was in focus, though seemes the blur got more attention lol.
think i will get it lowerd a fair bit like as i noticed the huge gaps like you said "EDK".
and im gonna see what it looks like de-badged tomorow... may do it on my computer first to see what it will look like.

thanks for all nice feedback and making me feel welcome

oh, yea its got that, i was gonna turn my car around to get a pic of the front but it started tp totally piss down so i ran inside haha. but thanks for the offer anyway. oh i also made a simulation of what my car would look like with the back totally de badged..... ill put a pic up in a min

so im now thinking of debadging the back,,,, this is what it would look like from what iv made on my comp.... what do you think compared to the original?

Looks good mate. I've done this but left the Nissan badge on mine. Either way is good and makes it a lot cleaner looking.

Welcome!

Guess the + after the sport means colour-coded bump strips and chromed handles? My standard Sport has neither.

IIRC the Nissan badges front and back have pins or screws or something holding them on. The Almera and Sport badges will come off with a bit of hairdryer and dental-floss action but you'd need to fill the holes left by the Nissan badge, Could be wrong, tho so someone put me right if I am.

You're definitely right about the front Nissan badge but I believe the rear Nissan badge has no pins and will come off like the rest of the rear badges.

thanks for the help people, im de-badging it tomorow morning,,,,,, though ill keep onto them cos knowing me ill want them back on within a few month haha
