pulsar air filter

will an air filter ment for a pulsar gti-r fit my almera gti?
also i know this sounds really stupid but is there a difference between just an air filter and an induction kit? 'cuz they both just seem the same, im on about cone filters by the way.
one more thing, would this be any good and would it fit?

Induction kit is just a filter with a cold air feed pipe.
Pulsar GTiR filter wont fit as its a different size where it connects to the MAF. The panel filter might fit. Same panel filter as late 90s impreza aswell

An induction kit is a cone air filter with any bits required to fit to the car. A replacement element is a straight swap for the factory filter and just fits in the standard airbox. An induction kit off one car very rarely fits another model of car ( the 1.4 Almera kit is nothing like the Gti Almera kit for example). If you have the kit already you could try it you might be lucky. Please e-mail your car details on a proper kit

can i just get some of the flexi piping from focus or some where for a cold air feed or do i need it to fit properly?

If you e-mail your car details I will see what is available. Panel filters work well on cars with a good airbox and fairly standard. Induction kits are good if you have done lots on mods ( cams exhaust etc ). They also sound nice.
