Re-Fitting Side Skirts

Guys,

I took my side skirts off when I was painting my car (was much easier to get the wings off without them in the way), but I'm not sure what to use to re-fit them...

Will a silicone adhesive do the job - no more nails etc?

I've got stuff in the house here called "Evo-Stik Serious Stuff", apparently it's the strongest adhesive you can buy... Will this work?

Cheers.

2x Self tappers or OE fixer each end and Evo stick when i fitted my P2 skirts to my Sri. You can also but a glue form builders merchants called Sticks Like Shit......seriously!

I would like some of that stuff called sticks like shit to get my spoiler on the boot

Try places like Srew-Fix or Wickes. Mates dad is a builder and he has loads and it comes in cartrige form to put in a caulking gun. Tiger seal is more readily available aswell.

I used tiger seal on the side of my car and now I am I was thinking of using tiger seal for my front and rear skirts + spoiler but this sticks like shit sounds better then tiger seal

MAKE SURE you seal the sideskirts. I didnt, jacked the car up the other day to change the wheel and several pints of water gushed out. NOT GOOD having that on your sills, got to re-do them, weld and fit the skirts again now.

do you mean use silicon or this sticks like sh*t's stuff for the side skirts ?

I don't believe I paid 12 quid for a tube of tiger seal

does any one know if there is a screw fix shop in Birmingham I can't seem to find it.

Tommo used TigerSeal on his sideskirts and they're holding alright so far, just make sure that the top of the skirt is watertight.

underseal the sills, then put the skirts on..

Personally i'd use stickafix and some blind rivits, lots of different options though!
