Rear fog switch

I'm hopefully getting one of those lovely JDM center consoles, and I noticed it doesn't have enough switches for the rear fog. Now I know the Ph2 have the fog switches on the indicator stalk, so does anyone know if I can easily wire in the fog switch to the stalk?

OR what have other Ph1 people done when they got a JDM console?

Left the rear fog disconnected as I've got JDM yo rear lights so the insides light up anyway.
I'd just leave it disconnected anyway mate.. How often do use rear fog anyway?

Simply Re-connect :)
Possibly connect it in place of the heated rear screen just for the MOT, save swapping over the whole console.

Nope its only september, its worth waiting till then just to stay legal anyway :)
MOT is May for me, but like I said, it'll go in exactly as it is this year..
As I spent a week putting it completely back to standard in every way last year and the tester said "why don't you start modding this mate, could be a mint sleeper" and I was like.. Er yes mate I have like just spent a week ripping off the mods I've already got..
He then said "you shouldn't have bothered mate, we like modified cars here, haha"
I was well pissed haha.

lmao nice. I'm a bit worried about my MOT this year though as my emmisions were borderline last year, although I've got a feeling it was because of the lambda, we'll have to see how that goes lol. Reckon it'll pass with the mani on?
 
I don't think it will pass a straight MOT with the mani on nah, I'd just bang standard mani on and the cat back in.. (if you've got a decat)
The catback and backbox won't make much difference, it'll be fine.
Its only gonna take you a morning to make all the necessary changes anyway isn't it :)

another alternative is wire them up to a different swith, theres a parts place down the road from me that seel switches that are a perfect fit to go in the blacks above/below the electric mirror switch
 
What Shag suggested is the easiest by putting it in the rear heater place for mot, or if your very law abiding just put another switch on, I put one where the headlight height control is on the vzr. you'll be proper jdm then.

JDM is what we aim for right? Think I'm just gonna do the heater switch swap, I wasn't sure if you needed a rear heater for the MOT, cheers guys.
 
I think that the main problem your gonna have is when you relocte your aircon controls the wires won't be long enough.
