Rear panels rusted to hell fibreglass or replace ?

Well my rear bumper was held on by hopes and dreams and i took it out the way to make removing the old exhaust system easier and fitting the powerflow catback i got from SRI_Alan... anyways took the bumper off and well it practically fell off... i was wondering am i best trying to get a replacement panel and cutting the old crap out and welding in a replacement panel on both sides or fibreglassing it and the tops of the arches so i can remount the bumper properly and not have to worry about more rot, also across the back of the car there are some very flaky rusted parts of metalwork but they dont appear to be structual or mount anything to it... i put some pics in to get some opinions... also if anyone knows the name of the panels i would need if welding is the answer i would be greatfull.

Thanks

Dave

The actual welding wont cost me a penny just panels/metal to weld in and the front arches are fine as is most the body work.. i dont mind it taking time and unfortunately i spent a few quid before discovering this lot :S

if you got the time and the money for it then go for it save another mera. but i personaly wouldnt touch it. if i did i would reweld new panels in!

just weld it all then under seal what you can. all the stuff under the back bumper just get all the flakey bits off and underseal aswell and while your at it might as well do the rest of the car. make it last a bit longer

Got my eye on some new panels.. the flaky stuff under the bumper isnt too bad tho so i will clean that up, re weld any mounting points that are needed then clean it all up treat it and paint/underseal :)
