Rear sills

Hi just bought a T reg phase II mainly for my wife to drive as its only done 40k and is in vgc. The only things wrong are the fan only working on 4 (found one on ebay). The other thing is I've noticed that the rear sills have started bubbling. Is this a common problem on the Almera's ? I've had loads of old nissans from Cherrys to Micras and Silvias and if they go in the sills its usually a drain issue. Any help would be appreciated :lol:

i think you need a heater resistor card to sort the fan problem and it is a common problem to bubble at the sills. im guessing its the same design as the micras for the draining of the sunroof. some people extend the pipes so they come out the sills
 
I bought an Almera in December, about the same age as a cheap runaround. Previous owner just kept painting on like waxoil or something on the sills, just failed its MOT on excessive corrosion. I'm having to weld plates to the sill and underneath tomorrow! So my advice would be to keep on top of it now and sort asap lol! wish i would have checked the bodywork over more, just ran over the engine as the last 2 MOT's had no advisories!
