Rear spoiler 2.0 Gti 1997

Some vandal has walked over the roof broke the rear brake light inside the spoiler on the hatch and dented the roof near the spoiler
Anyone know how to get the spoiler off
I've found the two nuts took them off but it wont move Stuck on maybe????

it has like double sided tape aswell as some clips on it aswell. if you get an old credit card then you can slide that underneath and try to get it free, might make it easier if you give it a bit of heat aswell to soften the tape.

the red tape is just were the factory stuff is and if you look there are two clips just inwards from the bolts, think they just popped out from memory but they wont be difficult anyway. the black around the edge isnt tape so no need to worry about that. make sure the boot is clean if your keeping it and using a credit card because i scratched the car i got my spoiler of quite badly but it didnt matter anyway as it was only scrap
 
you got any pictures of your gti? quite local to me, infact if i was on the road i would have driven down to give you a hand if you needed it but i wont be drivin until early next year

Yeah I see now. thanks I'll try it tommorro I've got someone to pop out the dent if I can get spoiler off thanks again
